2015 Pro-Am Charity Game

On August 2, 2015, the Pro-Am charity game took place at Bridge Haven Club in St. Louis MO. Participants at 43 tables raised $9,600, the largest amount raised in the history of this event.

Money raised goes to Backstoppers, a local charity that provides assistance to the families of St. Louis area police officers, firefighters and other emergency personnel who are killed in the line of duty.

Thanks to Dan Spangler, the manager of Bridge Haven, and to Barbara Reid for coordinating the Pro-Am.  A special thanks to these Pros for donating their time and talent.

Fall 199er Tournament

The Unit 143 Fall 199er Bridge Tournament was held September 26-27 at St. Louis Bridge Center. For the first time, a single session 0-49 masterpoint session was included in the tournament. The new session attracted seven tables of participants.

With Lee Hastings chairing the tournament and Beth Percich directing, players at 69 tables enjoyed the two days of hospitality and friendly competition.  Here are most of the winners showing off their trophies.
