Ed Schultz Player of the Year Award

If you play against Jack Bryant, you may observe him taking a moment to study the dummy before playing to the first lead. His habit of staying with problems and coming up with satisfactory playing solutions helped him win the Ed Schultz award for 2015.

In the collage at right, you see Jack (top right) hard at work on 2016 accomplishments, after accepting the 2015 award from Unit President Linda Seibert.

What did you do when the lights went out?

If you were playing in the December 29th club game at the St. Louis Bridge Center, you continued to play bridge, of course. And here’s the picture (right) to prove it. By the light of pocket flashlights and smartphones, play continued to the end of the session.
