(These new Risings in Rank have occurred since late 2015 until present; my apologies if I have omitted anyone.)
ACBL has created two new ranks to which players have been assigned. The new
assignments are just too numerous to list by name, but they are:
Ruby Life Master - A Life Master with 1500 (at least 300 red, gold, or
platinum).
Sapphire Life Master - A Life Master with 3500 (at least 750 silver, red,
gold, or platinum, of which 350 must be gold or platinum).
We have just finished the Winter District 8 Sectional-at-Clubs. Congratulations to the Unit 223 players who participated at local clubs and garnered silver points. Results of the STaC are to be found on the ACBL Website under the Tournament Toolbar.
The next Unit 223 Sectional will be in Effingham IL, April 8-10. Chairperson is Kate Dickens. Contact her for info at cowper4@yahoo.com.Here's hoping all Unit 223 players have a prosperous and healthy 2016 and win lots of masterpoints!
