IN MEMORIAM

Dolores Gerdes of Munster was a beautiful person — one with a loving heart and a kind nature. She always wore a smile — despite her many medical problems. She loved bridge and always thanked the directors for providing that joy in her life.

Anne Murphy comments — When thinking of Dolores I remember always looking forward to each bridge game with her. She was so easy to be with and loved this game of bridge. She had her own philosophy about bidding and play and approached it all with a great sense of humor. I will miss her as a good partner and friend.

Helen Miller reminisces — I have many wonderful memories of Dolores and am saddened by her passing. I have known her for over 50 years. Our lives have intersected with bridge, church, family, and local events. Dolores was a courteous, enjoyable bridge partner. I will miss her.

Cathy Mason remarks — Dolores was the most pleasant player I have ever played with.

Dave Bigler writes — I treasured my games with Dolores and looked forward to every day we played. Dolores was my "Safe Haven" and a very good bridge player. She appreciated every game and was the most consistent player I ever played with! Before games, we talked one minute about bridge and five minutes about family. Dolores’ friendship will be everlasting.

Dolores died on January 5th. Our lives are richer for Dolores having been in them.  Farewell to a wonderful friend — and an excellent bridge player.
