Illini Regional Bridge Tournament

Please join us for seven days of bridge and our special Illini hospitality:

  Wednesday:  Seniors Day -- $2 off per session in the Stratified Open Pair or Rose Bowl Compact KO for ages 65+.

  Friday:  Juniors Day -- Full-time students age 25 and under play FREE in the Swiss Teams or Open Pairs. $4 per-session student discount for all other events all week.

  Saturday:  Two-session Stratified Non-LM Pairs -- winners receive a free entry for the Monday Swiss Teams.

  Sunday:  Barometer final in the Flight A Strataflighted Pairs  (1:30 & 7:30).

  Sunday:  Fighting Illini Fans Day -- $2 off your afternoon entry if you wear Illini orange and blue!

  Monday:  FAST Swiss Teams -- playthrough with free continental breakfast & cash snack bar. 

  Novice/Intermediate Program:  0-300 events Wednesday through Sunday. C & D strata in all events, Tuesday through Monday. Expert speakers at 1:00 & 7:00, Wed. evening through Sun. afternoon.

  Non-stop hospitality -- Evening buffets, hotel hospitality suite, registration gifts, door prizes, champagne splits & glasses to section winners, Daily Bulletin, more!

Three Bracketed Knockout Teams (four sessions):

Big Ten KO -- 7:30 Tuesday & 9:30, 1:30, 7:30 Wednesday

Chief Illiniwek KO -- Primetime: 1:30 & 7:30 Thursday & Friday

OskeeWowWow KO -- Primetime: 1:30 & 7:30 Saturday & Sunday

Three Compact KO Teams (two sessions, four-person teams, four 12-board matches):

Rose Bowl Compact KO  -- Primetime: 1:30 & 7:30 Wednesday

Orange & Blue KO -- Mornings: 9:30 Thursday and Friday

Orange Krush Compact KO -- Mornings: 9:30 Saturday & Sunday

Stratified Pair Events: Single-session entries are available in all two-session pair games.

Charity Series AM Pairs -- 9:30 am, Wednesday through Sunday (to benefit Champaign Co. Humane Society).

Two-session Stratified Open Pairs -- 1:30 & 7:30, Wednesday through Saturday.

Two-session Strataflighted Pairs (Flight A separate from Flights BCD) -- 1:30 & 7:30 Sunday. Barometer final in Flight A.

Three One-Session Swiss Teams:  7:30 Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday

Novice/Intermediate Events:

One-session 299er Pairs (0-300 mps) -- 7:30 Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Two-session Non-LM Pairs (0-500, non-LM) -- 1:30 & 7:30 Saturday (winners earn a free entry in the Monday Swiss Teams)

Two-session Stratified BCD Pairs (separate awards for 0-200 pairs) -- 1:30 & 7:30 Sunday

Bridge rate ($95 double) at the Hilton Garden Inn. Opened in fall 2006, the hotel offers sleep-number beds, free wireless Internet, a heated indoor pool and fitness center.

Bridge rate ($105 double) at Homewood Suites. Rate includes daily hot breakfasts and weekday dinners.

Both hotels are located at 1501 South Neil (corner of Neil & Kirby). Parking is free, and a wide variety of restaurants are within walking distance.   Map with link for driving directions
