Greetings of the Season

Another year has come and gone in Unit 223. Here’s hoping that it has been a successful one for you and your favorite partner. Things have gone well in our Unit. We have managed to host many sectionals, and have moved our Regional across the river to Harrah’s Casino in Metropolis. The Unit membership & finances have remained stable. I hope to see you all over the bridge table in 2008 – either at club play or at a District 8 tournament. Here’s wishing a Happy (Prosperous & Successful) New Year to you!

Saluki Swiss Bridge Tournament

Our next Sectional Tournament will be the Saluki Swiss Bridge Tournament in Mt Vernon. The tournament is a two-day event to be held Saturday, Jan. 26 and Sunday, Jan 27 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. Bridge rates will be available at the Holiday Inn through Jan 5th.
