The Longest Day

The St. Louis Bridge Center had 77 tables of bridge on The Longest Day, an ACBL special event in June to support the Alzheimers Association.

The club raised over $76,000 this year. The amount raised over the past six years totals more than $325,000.

The 15 players in the photo played in all three games.

Players at the St. Louis Bridge Center enjoyed Barbara Seagram’s three-session interactive seminar on June 14 and 15.

Topics covered were Defensive Strategy and Signaling, Stripping Can Be Fun and Locating Opponent’s Honor Cards.

Many of the prime events are held in the morning and afternoon sessions with games also available at night.

This year features many bracketed team events. This allows players to compete against players of similar skills and experience.
