Bridge Haven Backstoppers Charity Game

Backstoppers Organization assists families of St. Louis area police officers, firefighters, and other emergency personnel who are killed in the line of duty.  On September 10, 2017, local "pros" from the St. Louis area gathered to play with the Unit 143 members who bid for the chance to play with them. 

Thanks to Chuck Starovasnik and Barbara Reid of Bridge Haven Club for coordinating this 8th Annual Pro-Am game.  Thanks to St. Louis Bridge Center for donating their facility.  A special thanks to the local “pros” for donating their time and talent.  This year over $17,000 was raised to benefit the families served by Backstoppers.

Congratulations to Randy Baker and En Xie (Pro) who took first place with a 66.83%, to Bill Canfield and Tom Oppenheimer (Pro) who took second place with a 62.66%, to Chuck Ettelson and Tom Kniest (Pro) on taking third with 61.89%, and to Estella Lau and Mark Ehret (Pro) fourth with 60.58%. 
 

Fall 299er Tournament

On September 23 and 24, Unit 143 held the Fall 299er tournament at the St. Louis Bridge Center.
