Conversation at the Tunica Regional

North:  I once had an interesting experience at the bridge table.  My partner died.

West:  Nothing you did, I hope?

North:  No, no. We were playing Barry Crane at the time. All of the sudden my partner's eyes rolled back in his head. I didn't notice, but Barry did. Barry pushed back from the table and called out, "Is there a doctor in the house?" There were four, but they couldn/t save him. My partner was 88, and he had a heart attack.

West:  Think playing Barry scared him to death?

Upcoming Sectional

"Fall in the Country" Bridge Tournament:  Unit 223's next Sectional Tournament will be Oct 29th and 30th in Okawville IL at the Okawville Community Club, 511 South Hanover St.  KO Teamss will begin on Saturday at 9.30 and pairs will commence at 1.30.  Sunday Swiss Teams will start at 10.00.
