District 8 is sponsoring a District-wide charity game to provide disaster relief to tornado-damaged areas within our District. Your local club can participate by scheduling a charity game during the first week of August.
This game is sectionally rated (black points) and will fulfill ACBL's requirement for your club charity session for 2011. Each player will pay an additional $1 over the regular entry fee for this game.
Directions for club directors: In ACBLScore, set up the game as a "Fund (Charity)", then choose "Charity Club Championship". Click "yes" when asked if the game is for a local charity and type in "District 8 Disaster Charity Game".
After the game, make out a check to “District 8 Disaster Tornado Charity Game”. The minimum donation is $1 per player. Mail your check to District 8 President Karl Dencker, 1009 Mason Lane, Lake in the Hills IL 60156-4460,
