The North American Bridge Championships in St. Louis are just 13 months away (March 14-24, 2013). To help publicize the tournament, organizers have developed a unique logo (right). They're asking District 8 members to become "walking billboards" for the tournament by wearing clothing embroidered with the logo.

Lands End has been chosen as the supplier for logo garments. This popular retailer carries a wide range of casual clothing, including polo shirts, t-shirts, turtlenecks, sweaters, jackets and caps.

To order, select an item from a Lands End catalog or their online store (www.landsend.com ).

Call Lands End Business Outfitters (800-587-1541, Monday through Friday) and provide the item number. Tell the representative you want to add embroidery and use logo number 1182343-W. The logo is currently set up for woven material (designated by the W after the number) but it can be applied to virtually anything Lands End sells.

The additional cost to add the logo is $8.95. The photo shows the logo embroidered on a sample swatch. The lettering color can be changed to meet your preferences and contrast with the color of the garment you order.
