Silver Point Stars

Many of our Unit members had big successes in the Fall Silver Point Sectional, held at local clubs the week of October 26. Here are the Central Illinois players who placed in the top 100 of the 1307 participants in District 8:

The next Silver Point Sectional is coming up the week of February 1, 2016. Check with your local club manager for details on the special games in your area.

North American Pairs

Congratulations to everyone who played in the District 8 North American Pair finals in Champaign in November. Six Central Illinois qualified to represent District 8 in the national finals in Reno NV in March. Congratulations and good luck to:

Illini Champaign Regional -- May 24-30, 2016

It's not too early to begin thinking about spring and our Unit's annual regional, coming up Memorial Day week in Champaign.

We'll again be playing in the Hawthorn Suites hotel and offering lots of extras, including a speakers program, entry-fee discounts, nightly snacks and a hotel hospitality suite for socializing after the game. Bridge rate is $95 for a suite with kitchen, one or two beds, sleeper sofa and free wifi. Room rate includes daily hot breakfast and Wednesday-night dinner.  

This year's schedule features three of the popular Gold Rush Pair events for 0-750 players. You can check out the 2016 events on the tournament schedule page .
