People who are (or who are interested in) passing on the legacy of bridge to a younger generation are invited to attend this one-day symposium on Youth Bridge. The program starts on the morning before the beginning of the Gatlinburg Regional bridge tournament.
This symposium is being organized and hosted by Chris Shaw, Youth Bridge Education Organization, and Patty Tucker, Atlanta Junior Bridge.
Many of us have created highly successful Youth Bridge programs in our areas and we all want to see them expand. To accomplish this goal, it is time to join together to find ways to assist others, package our product and to promote, advertise and market Youth Bridge.
Each of us has a set of strengths and areas in which we have particular knowledge and skill. We know that the Youth Bridge movement is not a series of isolated occurrences, but rather a culmination of our mutual cooperation and exchange of ideas and help. We all need to find the resources (both financial and physical) to continue and improve our programs.
