IN MEMORIAM

Our bridge community has lost one of its finest — an excellent bridge player and a truly inspiring human being. Debby Yocum showed strength and resilience through her many adversities in life. She was a person with a true inner beauty! We will miss a dear friend, who was a vital part of our bridge family. Debby played duplicate bridge for over 40 years and was a Silver Life Master.

Bob Ferguson writes: “Debby was a woman of great intellectual curiosity and courage — both of which helped her to be an excellent bridge player. She was a pleasure to partner with, and though afflicted with very limited vision in her later years, continued to be a very good player who was unfailingly pleasant. I will miss her great laugh and sense of humor.” — as will we all.
