Tips and techniques for advanced -- and advancing -- players.

The Saturday and Sunday lessons will focus on how to survive -- and prosper -- when making some of the most common but problem-prone decisions at the bridge table. Included will be how-to tips and strategies for spotting potential pitfalls, evaluating options, improving your individual judgment and taking advantage of "expert standard" guidelines to choose the winning bid or play.

The program is designed to help develop advanced bidding and play skills, but the workshops and discussions will feature ideas that can benefit a wide range of experience levels, from bright beginners to long-time Life Masters.

Win Silver Points, too.

The Friday, Saturday and Sunday duplicate games are part of District 8's Sectional-at-Clubs tournament. The games offer sectional-rated silver points to winners and runners-up in three flights, plus the opportunity to win District-wide overall awards (up to 12 silver points each session). The Friday-night Quick Tips and game are optional but included for those who sign up for the full weekend ($5 fee for others).

Sign up with your partner or join as a single.

Partners will be available for all sessions. If your favorite partner(s) can't attend, you can bring home the ideas and handouts and use them in discussions with all your partners.

Early-registration discount:  $65 per person if you register by October 21.  ($10 off the regular price of $75). The fee includes:

Three sessions of lessons and workshops

Three Silver Point Pairs duplicate games

Lesson packet, workshop materials and game hand records
