The winning team in each flight will be eligible to play in the national GNT finals in the ACBL Summer Online NABC (July 14-18, 2021). District 8 needs you and your teammates for a successful event!
Separate events in four flights: Flight eligibility is based on your masterpoint total as of August 6, 2019 (the total on your September 2019 masterpoint report).
Championship (Open): All Players
Flight A: Limited to players with 0-6000 masterpoints
Flight B: Limited to players with 0-2500 masterpoints
Flight C: Limited to non-Life Masters with 0-500 masterpoints
Format: In all flights, the first day (May 1) will be a
two-session Swiss qualifying or a straight knockout (depending on number of
entries) on Bridgebase Online (BBO).
In flights with five or more teams entered, the top two or
four teams from the Saturday Swiss qualifying will advance to knockout rounds on BBO
on Sunday.
The knockout rounds in the Championship Flight will
require video feeds of each player through Zoom software (coordinated by ACBL).
Entry fees: $40/team, per session for a team of
four, five or six players.
Pre-registration and payment for the two sessions on Saturday
($80) are required. If you advance to the second day, entry fee for those
sessions ($40 per team per session) will be due by May 15.
Payment is made to District 8. You cannot pay online with BBO.
To register your team: Entries are due by
April 15, 2021.

With your check, include: The flight you're entering' your contact
information (phone and email); and the name, BBO login and ACBL number for each
team member.
