Note:  Depending on the number of teams entered, Flights A and B may be completed in one day (Saturday only).
The Open and Flight C events will be one day only (Sunday).

Trips to Chicago -- and regional-rated gold points -- are offered in the 2015 District 8 finals of this national team event. Any team of four, five or six District 8 members can enter in one of four separate flights.

Open championship:  Unlimited

Flight A:   0-6000 masterpoints

Flight B:   0-2500 masterpoints

Flight C:   0-500 masterpoints (non-Life Masters)

Your flight eligibility is determined by the number of masterpoints you held on September 1, 2014. 

The winning team in each flight will receive a travel award (minimum of $1000 per team) from the District Board to play in the national finals in Chicago in early August.

Formats:

Open:  One day only. Straight knockout or other format, depending on number of teams.  

Flights A & B:  Qualifying round on Saturday; finals and semi-finals on Sunday if needed. Four or fewer teams will be a straight knockout, 5-8 teams will be three sessions (Swiss qualifying on Saturday; knockout on Sunday), 8+ teams will be four sessions.    

Flight C:   One day only. Two-session Swiss teams.

Directions:  Please note the new location in Bloomington. From I-55, take Exit 160 (IL 9/US 150 Market Street) toward Pekin. Follow Route 9 approximately 3 miles. The UAW Hall will be on your right.
